Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses at Miami Dade College to Host Celebration of Success Ceremony
Leigh-Ann Buchanan served as the Celebration Success Ceremony speaker where 29 companies that participated in the most recent cohort. Through a partnership with the Goldman Sachs Foundation, the 10,000 Small Businesses Program at MDC has assisted more than 575 local small businesses grow.
Special guests will include MDC President Madeline Pumariega; Miami-Dade County Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins; Debbie Gim, Vice-President of Engagement at Goldman Sachs Foundation; and Pamela Fuertes, Executive Director of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program at MDC.
The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program at MDC is a top-rated entrepreneurship program designed to empower small business leaders. Through a nine-module cohort of workshops, peer-to-peer networking, business advising sessions and more, participants gain powerful knowledge and expert insight, giving them the tools needed for success and growth of their business.
MDC’s program is part of a national network of 20 sites across the U.S. Small Business entrepreneurs that participate gain practical business and entrepreneurship education designed and co-delivered in partnership with Babson College, the national leader in entrepreneurship education, access to a global network of support from expert business advisors, access to lending capital from local, regional and national Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and other mission-driven small business lenders and upon completion entrepreneurs are introduced to a national community of 10KSB alumni.
